A recruitment agency is seeking a driven Fund Accountant to join an expanding team in Hampshire, UK. This full-time position offers excellent exposure to private equity, private credit, and real estate fund structures. Responsibilities include reviewing transactions, preparing financial reports, and managing client relations. One of our valued clients a specialist provider in private capital fund administration is seeking a driven Fund Accountant to join their expanding team in Hampshire. This role offers excellent exposure across private equity, private credit and real estate fund structures within a high‑performing accounting environment.

A superb opportunity for a part‑qualified accountant looking to deepen their expertise in alternative investments while taking on increasing responsibility and client‑facing work.

Responsibilities include
  • Reviewing financial transactions processed by junior team members and performing bookkeeping for more complex portfolios.
  • Preparing reconciliations, treasury and liquidity reporting, compliance reporting and managing bridging facilities.
  • Drafting drawdown and distribution notices, supporting VAT and corporate tax returns and handling investor relations queries.
  • Producing management accounts, quarterly investor reports and annual audited/unaudited accounts while coordinating closely with auditors, tax advisors and legal teams.

You should be dynamic, motivated and confident working independently. You’ll bring strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritise effectively in a deadline‑driven environment.
