A local government council in Wales is looking for skilled Accountancy Assistants to join their Finance and Procurement team. The role involves supporting financial operations such as budget setting and grant management. We have exciting opportunities for Accountancy Assistants to join the Council’s Finance and Procurement team as a result of a new structure and additional investment in the Accountancy service. We are looking to recruit skilled, enthusiastic and motivated individuals who will thrive in a fast paced and dynamic financial environment working for Team Ceredigion. The opportunities are on a permanent, full-time basis in the following areas:
You will contribute to the core functions of the respective teams, providing financial support to a defined group of Council Services, and will typically involve budget setting, budget monitoring, the closure of accounts, management of grant funding, completion of statutory returns and providing financial advice to budget holders.
