You'll be joining the Client Management team in the Mid‑Market segment as an Account Executive. Reporting to the Head of Client Success, you'll be a part of a fast‑growing business that is challenging the market and doing things differently:

Responsibilities
  • Developing and executing the Mid‑market segment strategy to maximise market penetration and revenue growth
  • Building and maintaining a robust pipeline of potential clients within the Mid‑Market sector
  • Actively pursuing new client origination opportunities through prospecting and networking
  • Conducting market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities within the industry
  • Being responsible for the end‑to‑end sales cycle of enterprise Mid‑Market names
  • Offering tailored perspectives to prospects that challenges the way they view their business
  • Cultivating strong relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders
  • Serving as a proud ambassador for Clearbank and your client when required, participating in industry events to present our capabilities to your segment and act as a thought leader in your space
Qualifications
  • Mid‑senior level experience with proven sales, business development and account management in a fast‑paced banking/fintech environment
  • Deep interest in fintech, banking and the rapidly evolving industry
  • Relevant payments/banking experience
  • A track record of success in enterprise sales within the finance/banking/fintech sector
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen, question and present effectively, tailoring complex topics to the audience
  • Ability to quickly build relationships with stakeholders at all levels and negotiate with senior C‑level executives
  • Results‑focused mindset, thinking radically and responsibly to deliver the best outcomes for customers, colleagues and the bank
  • Strong desire to seek feedback, develop learning, and maintain a culture of trust and quality
  • High integrity: “I” before “we” is not in your vocabulary

Our hiring process and what you can expect
  • Application: a member of our talent acquisition team will review your application against the key requirements for the role and let you know within two weeks whether you’re moving forward to the next stage.
  • Screening: you will spend 30–45 minutes speaking to one of our recruiters learning more about the role and ClearBank, and we will learn more about you, your experience and how your skills align with the role (this will be via phone or Teams video call). You can expect to hear back from us within seven days following this meeting.
  • First Interview: you will spend one hour with a member of our hiring team focusing on your skills, competencies and ways of working at the same time we will give you time to ask more questions about the role, the team and learn more about the ClearBank culture. This will be via Teams.
  • Second Interview: this will be a competency‑based interview with one or more members of our team.
  • Final Stage: you will have a final meeting with the Head of Department. This will be around 45–60 minutes.
  • Offer: congratulations! Get ready to transform banking forever!
  • Our commitment to you: we will always try our best to get back to you within seven days of your interview whether you’ve been successful or not and provide you with feedback. Sometimes things take a little longer, so we may not have a decision to share but we will let you know we need a little more time.
