Job description
New Business Client Advisor – Enterprise Team, Marsh Commercial

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Enterprise team at Marsh Commercial. This role will be based in the Leeds office and is a hybrid position requiring a minimum of three days per week in the office.

The Role

As a New Business Client Advisor, you will primarily be responsible for bringing in new SME clients to the Enterprise part of the business. You will also service a range of commercial insurance policies, manage renewals, invoicing, quoting, upselling and cross‑selling additional products, and handle any client queries.

Responsibilities
  • Work on all aspects of account management and service delivery to clients, ensuring client needs are identified and met in line with agreed service standards.
  • Manage day‑to‑day queries, new business, renewals, amendments and mid‑term adjustments.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, prospects, client teams and producers to provide best‑in‑class service and drive growth.
  • Serve as a client contact for day‑to‑day needs and answer standard or more difficult client questions to improve the client experience.
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of changing market conditions and comply with all compliance, professional and transparency standards to better serve clients.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience within a similar Insurance Account Manager role is preferred, but client/customer facing experience from a comparable role or environment will be considered.
  • Strong literacy, numeracy, administration and communication skills demonstrated through qualifications or grades.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure, work flexibly when required, and manage multiple enquiries simultaneously.
  • Excellent organisational skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and similar products.
