Job Summary

Real Chemistry is looking for an Account Associate to join our growing team! We are currently seeking an Account Associate with enthusiasm to learn and embrace a career in healthcare marketing communications. The position offers a great opportunity for an individual with a passion for healthcare to work with leading clients in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical devices, and health IT fields.

Responsibilities
  • Support the team on internal and external communications across all Real Chemistry accounts.
  • Demonstrate strong project management capability and interest in healthcare communications.
  • Provide client and account management for all communications materials.
  • Draft content for client materials such as press releases, infographics, and fact sheets.
  • Incorporate client edits into documents and materials.
  • Support media monitoring needs for clients.
  • Develop and manage media lists for clients.
  • Conduct media outreach for clients.
  • Support research needs.
  • Liaise with third‑party vendors (e.g., printers) to support client needs.
  • Manage timelines and project trackers to ensure deliverables and deadlines are met.
  • Stay on top of relevant trends and flag to managers and clients as appropriate.
Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge and interest in healthcare marketing (academic studies or work experience).
  • Relevant degree in a science subject or communications/marketing.
  • Good understanding of social media vehicles and comfort managing and drafting communications around them.
  • Interest in corporate accounts within the healthcare sector and willingness to learn and grow.
  • Open‑minded, eager to learn, high energy, and able to operate in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
  • Highly organised with mindful deadlines, ability to manage multiple tasks, and strong attention to detail.
  • Independent thinker confident in taking ownership of assets and material development, while being a team player who enjoys collaboration.
  • Professional presence, sense of urgency, and client‑service orientation.
  • Confidence to manage upward, communicating with managers when issues arise.
  • Strong written, oral, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel), particularly PowerPoint.
