A community support organization in Blagdon is seeking a dedicated Accommodation and Support Manager. You will oversee support services for individuals experiencing homelessness, manage a team, and participate in an out-of-hours On Call rota. Candidates must have supervisory experience and the capability to engage with challenging behaviours. We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic and resilient person to join us as the Accommodation and Support Manager in West Somerset.
This role involves working from our accommodation in Minehead, overseeing and providing support services to individuals who, for various reasons, have become homeless. The services in West Somerset includes accommodation for young people 18-25, temporary accommodation and accommodation for those who have a history of or who are at risk of experiencing rough sleeping. There we are seeking someone who can use a range of range of tools and techniques for motivating and engaging communities who traditionally may find it tricky to work with services.
The role will also be directly line managing a number of team members, so it is essential you have some supervisory or line management experience.
As part of this role you will be included in an out of hours On Call rota.

Whilst there are systems in place to support you, a substantial part of the role includes the ability to lone work. Therefore, we require someone competent and confident when working alone and somebody who is able to understand and work with complex and challenging behaviours, appropriately.
