Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands‑on experience.
Embark on a three‑year accountancy/taxation apprenticeship, and you’ll work towards a professional qualification while you gain practical experience. You’ll work with diverse teams across the business through six‑month placements while pursuing a fully‑funded level 7 apprenticeship which leads to ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) status and is studied part‑time through Kaplan. During the programme, you’ll have the opportunity to select placements based on your interests and career goals, like:

The Apprenticeship standard details the essential Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours that somebody would need to demonstrate to be successful in this job role. These include Business Awareness, Ethics, Communication, Leadership, Planning and Prioritisation and Problem‑Solving. Apprentices will need to show they are competent in all the areas detailed in the standard when they take the End‑Point Assessment.
The Knowledge areas of the standard will typically be covered through completion of the qualification. Skills and Behaviours are developed through workshops, e‑learning, workplace training and practical experience provided “on‑the‑job”.
