We are looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join our on-site team at Team 14 in South Normanton. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in maintaining essential mechanical and electrical plant systems, while contributing to a high-performing facilities management service.
As an AC Engineer, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality planned and reactive maintenance across mechanical, electrical, and HVAC plant. You'll also work closely with subcontractors, maintain compliance documentation, and ensure safe working practices are always followed.
Perform routine PPM on all mechanical, electrical, and R&AC systems.
Respond to and resolve reactive maintenance tasks across the site, including store and fabric issues.
Monitor and supervise sub-contractors, ensuring all work meets required standards.
Operate a Permit to Work System in line with health & safety procedures.
Ensure compliance with F-Gas regulations and maintain up-to-date logbooks.
Keep the Computer-Based Maintenance System (e.g. Maximo) updated with accurate data.
Carry out risk assessments, prepare method statements, and ensure a clean, safe working environment.
Support the Site Management Team with additional duties as needed.
Proven experience in a similar AC/HVAC engineer role.
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical plant.
Excellent understanding of health & safety regulations.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Relevant qualifications in Air Conditioning/HVAC systems (F-Gas, NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent).
