Overview

SECURITY CLEARANCE: Must have or be able to obtain security clearance eligibility to access UK Ministry of Defence establishments, working within ITAR and Export Control restrictions. We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented UK Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic logistics team. In this critical role, you will act as the main focal point of the logistics activities at Brize Norton, including but not limited to FWD stores, Material Support Facility and Transport (to and from UK).

Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you will manage an operational team focused on the performance control and monitoring of inbound, store and outbound spares and repairs items, especially for those required under Aircraft On Ground (AOG) conditions, while ensuring 24x7 on-site coverage. You will monitor the performance and costs of the UK warehouse and transportation activities, defining applicable cost drivers within MTC and GSS balance sheets (OP).

Responsibilities
  • Ensure end-to-end visibility of the logistics process, regarding warehousing processes.
  • Control the warehousing budget and monitor expenses to achieve best possible cost performance.
  • Monitor the performance of the UK warehouses, especially for AOG services, ensuring the fulfilment of targets set by Customer Services.
  • Monitor the performance and costs of transportation subcontractors (4PL and 3PL), co-leading the definition of work scopes for subcontracting activities and their updates.
  • Provide proper answers regarding transportation services to internal stakeholders, supply key information to secure company invoicing, and route complaints and requests to the accountable entity or staff.
  • Assess the performance of the UK warehouses regularly and propose corrective actions based on observed situations. Maintain awareness of compliance and export control risks.
  • Understand the Defence Logistic Framework.
  • Demonstrate business experience in supply chain or logistics; strong leadership and warehousing experience; familiarity with 5S and Lean methodologies.
  • Maintain awareness of potential compliance risks and a commitment to integrity as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation and sustainable growth.
