Job description

You will be a key part of Atlantic's A&R team, providing full A&R Administrative support across our varied roster of established and developing acts, helping to ensure a smooth process from Artist signing to recording to final audio delivery. You will serve as the primary liaison between A&R, Business & Legal Affairs, and Finance teams, focusing on budget management, detailed payment processing, and comprehensive contract administration.

Responsibilities
  • Reporting to the A&R Coordination manager, you will be responsible for running the day to day activities for recording projects assigned to you, including organising studios, arranging artist/producer transport, booking hotels, organising equipment hire, and finding engineers and session musicians as requested.
  • Tracking recording budgets, working with A&R and Finance to keep projects on budget and informing them of any variance.
  • Coordinating the mix/master process, ensuring correct delivery of final audio files, including formats such as DDP and vinyl acetates.
  • Compiling label copy credits for delivery.
  • Ensuring audio and label copy are delivered on time and fully cleared prior to the release date, working closely with Marketing and Creative Production.
  • Keeping all incoming audio up to date on the internal file system (BOX), verifying/archiving with external archiving team, and controlling movement of music securely.
  • Negotiating producer/mixer/remixer deals on behalf of A&R, liaising with Business Affairs to ensure all required paperwork is completed before release.
  • Setting up new suppliers, issuing purchase orders to pay for recording costs, and dealing with enquiries related to POs and invoicing alongside accounts payable and finance teams.

  • Knowledge of production/mix/master process and the applicable deliverables.

  • Previous A&R Coordination or Artist Management experience.
  • Experience working across a varied artist roster.
