Working in partnership with other organisations and across Environment Agency teams, this role will see you leading on the management and provision of flood risk data and information. This data and information will be in a variety of formats such as technical reports, flood models and databases and will be provided to deadlines set out in our customer charter to a variety of internal and external customers.
We provide continual opportunities to help grow your technical knowledge and leadership to help develop your career.
We are fully committed to having an inclusive workforce to reflect the communities we serve. We welcome flexible working patterns for all our vacancies, including job share, so please clearly include any information regarding your preferred working arrangements on your application.

We are a supportive team and pride ourselves in excellent decision making based on continually improving evidence and our own skills. We influence the location and design of new development through planning and permitting advice. We also oversee flood risk modelling and mapping to inform decisions and new flood risk schemes.
You’ll possess great communication skills and experience of dealing with people from different backgrounds. Your passion for providing excellent customer service and protecting the environment will help you influence others to achieve the best outcomes for our area. You’ll also be able to grasp technical concepts around flood risk.
You will be welcomed and supported by our dedicated, passionate team and given all the training and guidance needed to succeed, so if you possess these qualities and/or experience and would enjoy a career working in a role that helps you make a difference to our environment, we welcome your application.
