Position: Accounting Clerk- (Maternity Leave Coverage)

Location: Morgan CreekAve Surrey BC V3Z 0R7

Hours: 21 hr/wk

Salary: $27.81/hr

Start Date: ASAP

We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to join our Finance team! Ideally this individual must be a strong positive model by being energetic creative and resourceful while also possessing strong interpersonal teamwork skills.

Description of Position:

Reporting to: CFO

Responsibilities:
  • 달- day‑to‑day accounting activities that can include the following but not limited to:
  • Accounts payable
  • Account receivable
  • Invoicing
  • Payment processing
  • Credit Card Reconciliations
  • Month‑end processing
  • Ad hoc projects as assigned.
Physical Demands of Job:

Qualifications:

Education/ Designation Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of related accounting experience
  • Diesipm in accounting is an asset

Technical Skills:

  • Sage 300 (ACCPAC) is an asset
  • Microsoft Office Suite Excel Outlook Word
  • Smartsheets is an asset

General Experience:

  • Experience working in a non-profit environment is an asset
  • General knowledge of IT and Telephone infrastructure
  • English communication skills both written and verbal
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills
