Overview

NHS Lothian Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) invites applications for an Occupational Therapy Assistant (Band 3) in the CAMHS Tier 4 Occupational Therapy Team. The post is permanent 0.5wte (18.5 hours) and based at the Melville Unit, Royal Hospital for Children and Young People, Edinburgh BioQuarter campus. The team works with young people usually aged 12-18 who are experiencing complex and severe mental health problems (including depression, eating disorders, and psychosis). The OT Assistant will support young people receiving CAMHS services as day patients, inpatients or from the assertive outreach team.
