We are offering an exciting opportunity for an undergraduate student to join our team for a 12‑month industrial placement. As part of our UX engineering team, you will be a key contributor to our software design solutions, gaining hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced, innovative enterprise environment. You will integrate with cross‑functional teams, learn from senior professionals, and help champion a human‑centred design approach across the business.

  • Contract Duration: July 2026 – July 2027
  • Location: Central London, UK
  • Office Policy: Mandatory 3 days per week in the office.

As a Front‑end Development intern, your main role will be to prototype and implement user interfaces for our mobile and cloud systems as part of a team of Software Engineers. This will involve creating front‑ends for Android & iOS apps, websites, and both mobile and desktop webapps. You will need to have an eye for design to translate designs into pixel‑perfect implementations.

Responsibilities
  • Work, advise, and collaborate with UX Designers to produce elegant and innovative front‑end user interfaces in the latest front‑end technologies
  • Prototype new ways to interact with bleeding‑edge mobile and virtual technologies
  • Fulfil several project requests simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
  • Interact with teams across the whole of Zebra to spread the message of good User Experiences
  • Take part in team brainstorms to discover new and innovative product ideas
Qualifications

Minimum Education/Qualifications:

  • Studies in Computer science related degree
  • Your degree program must include a formal “Year in Industry” or “Sandwich Year” placement
  • You must be scheduled to return to your final year of university studies in September 2027.
