Responsibilities
  • Utilize our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to direct the strategy and execution of facility systems, predictive and preventive maintenance.
  • Support the development, execution, and maintenance of the site asset reliability program, and associated projects.
  • Support reliability and engineering tools such as Life-Cycle costing, Pareto, and Root Cause Failure Analysis.
  • Apply predictive maintenance technologies such as ultrasound and vibration analysis on a variety of equipment and systems to identify potential equipment failures and recommend the appropriate corrective action.
  • Support the site reliability program including asset criticality, maintenance strategy, and critical spare parts.
  • Work with maintenance and inventory personnel in the development of asset critical spare parts strategy and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Collaborate with Project Engineering, Controls Engineering, Site Operations, and Maintenance to fulfill primary job responsibilities, and regularly interface with site engineering management regarding the status of the Reliability program.
  • Support Asset Maintenance Plan to ensure adequate levels of sustaining effective maintenance job plans and critical spare parts for each plant asset.
  • Support Reliability Engineer as needed.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in university, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or other related field.
  • Must be enrolled in university for at least one semester following the co-op.
  • Expected graduation date between December 2026 – June 2027.
  • Must be able to commit to a 6-month program at AbbVie Bioresearch Center (ABC) in Worcester, MA.
