A local care service is seeking two Personal Assistants to support a male individual recovering from a stroke. Responsibilities include helping with daily routines, meal preparation, and basic household tasks. Individuals should have experience with paralysis, be patient, and flexible. This part-time role involves 30 hours per week with a competitive hourly rate of £13.00. Ideal candidates will contribute to creating a joyful and supportive environment.
2 Personal Assistants Required to help in and around the home with some caring responsibilities for an individual following a stroke. PA or carer to help a male with daily tasks has some caring responsibilities. There are 2 vacancies for 30 hours per week. Must be flexible but rota would be provided in advance. PA or carer to be patient and have paralysis experience. Stroke or brain injury experience would be great but not essential.
Experience in assisting people with paralysis.
A fun and 80\'s music loving male, who in December 2024 suffered a catastrophic stroke which resulted in the loss of communication and right-side paralysis. Despite the lack of communication and paralysis he brings joy to the day with his sense of humour. He is a family man, has a wife, 2 daughters and a son in law.
Loves classic cars and watching films and TV series.
Do I smoke? No. Can PA smoke during work hours? Yes.
What pets do I have and how many? 1 dog. Do I need support with my pets? Occasionally letting the dog into the back garden to go to the toilet.
