Are you reliable, hands-on and seeking a stable, permanent role with a market leader in Ipswich? With a track record going back over 25 years, a permanent full-time opportunity has become available for a Production Labourer (with forklift experience) with an innovative and successful family business based in Swanbank whose products and materials are used for a wide range of applications including noise reduction, sport field underlays, bitumen and matting.

This role offers an excellent work/life roster between 5:00am – 1:30pm Monday to Thursday and 5:00am – 11:00am on Fridays!!

Responsibilities

• Performing various yard duties (including bagging and packing of materials and product up to 20 kgs)
• Driving forklifts and some front-end loaders work
• Performing general maintenance of machinery (refueling, greasing, cleaning filters etc.)

Qualifications

• Current Forklift ticket and experience
• Front End loader VOC or certificate desirable not mandatory
• A high level of fitness appropriate to the task described
• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious approach
• Team player with a positive can-do attitude

This is a permanent full-time role (flat hourly rate of $33.00 per hour dependent on experience) offering ongoing, stable work in a friendly team with supportive supervisors. You will also have the opportunity to undertake training to boost your skills in operating machinery (such as front end loader).
