Job Description

We are currently seeking a qualified 1:1 Tutor to join our team in the East Midlands region, specifically in Leicestershire, Leicester. This is a full-time permanent position within the Education and Training industry.

Job Duties:
  • Provide tailored one-on-one tutoring sessions to students in the specified subject area.
  • Develop individualised lesson plans based on students' needs and learning goals.
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student's progress and development.
  • Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student performance.
Required Qualifications:
  • Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS).
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering one-to-one tutoring sessions.
  • Strong knowledge of the subject area being taught.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Education:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in the relevant subject area.
Experience:
  • Previous experience in tutoring or teaching.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Patience and empathy when working with students.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Additional certifications or training related to tutoring or education.
  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
