An education recruitment agency is seeking a Part-Time 1:1 Tutor in Halstead to work with students mainly in core subjects like Maths and English. The role supports students facing learning challenges and requires relevant tutoring experience, ability to create lesson plans, and a positive attitude towards engaging with SEN students. This position offers flexible hours, with a pay rate starting at £25 per hour. Applicants must hold the right to work in the UK and provide relevant references.
Prospero Teaching are looking for a Tutor to work 1:1 with students in the Halstead area. We have a variety of different part‑time tuition opportunities that can take place during the school day or after school hours/weekends. Successful tutors should be able to support mainly with the core subjects of Maths, English and sometimes Science across all key stages. The students we work with are usually low levels; the highest level you would be expected to tutor would be foundation level. You should be flexible, adaptable and have experience working within the education sector. Lessons could take place in either their home, a care home or an alternative setting such as a local library. Students are likely to have difficulty responding to conventional teaching and may have behaviour and/or SEN difficulties. They are also likely to be working at lower levels than their peers.
