A leading education provider in South Shields is seeking a 1:1 Behaviour Support Assistant to help a pupil benefit from consistent support throughout the school day. You will provide behavioural and learning support, assist with emotional regulation, promote engagement, and foster positive routines in a structured environment. This full-time, long-term contract offers competitive pay and focuses on safeguarding and welfare. Candidates are required to have the relevant qualifications and a DBS check.

Pay: £90–£110 per day

We’re seeking a 1:1 Behaviour Support Assistant to support a pupil who benefits from consistent adult support throughout the school day.
You’ll help the pupil manage behaviour, engage with learning and develop positive routines in a structured, supportive environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
