SPIE Services Nigeria Limited is currently looking for a Senior Telecom Rigger/Technician to join its workforce in Nigeria.
- Specialize in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of transmission and radio devices, including microwave and radio devices such as Aviat Eclipse, Harris Truepoint, Airspan, Alvarion, Motorola VHF/UHF analog and digital trunks, Tait UHF trunks, Etelm Tetra (& other Tetra OEMs), VHF Marine/Aero, etc.
- Resolve incidents related to transmission and radio devices, including microwave link issues and service availability.
- Perform installations, maintenance, and operations considered to be 'Work at Height' under HSE rules.
- Collaborate with support/field engineers for corrective and preventive maintenance of equipment.
- Install equipment under the supervision of support engineers.
- Carry out equipment installations on all company masts and towers, both onshore and offshore as needed.
- Work with third-party service providers for installations on company masts and towers.
- Implement equipment relocations and moves under supervision.
- Perform other technical duties as assigned by supervisors or the company.
- Conduct first-level interventions in the Total Village Emergency Management Team (EMT) room and escalate issues accordingly.
- Carry out routine checks and tests on telecom equipment in the EMT room.
- Serve as the telecom representative at the Total Village residential site.
- Provide onsite maintenance support for the Total Village site.
Experience as a Telecom Rigger.
Opportunities to work with an international group across various sectors, including networks, lighting, information systems, nuclear, maintenance, oil & gas, electrical, and mechanical engineering, in energy and sustainable development sectors.
TEPNG PHC Base and other locations as needed.
6+ years.
Annual Medical Certificate.
