Qualifications

The System Administrator will be responsible for handling business requests, formalizing them technically, and monitoring project progress by following the changes performed by the team.

He/She will also manage system administration and incident during the handover period.

Responsibilities
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Design the system solutions tailored to business needs with the support of the architect
  • Manage and track incidents and tickets through internal tools.
  • Participate in the implementation of infrastructure projects.
  • Perform performance analysis of production systems.
  • Ensure systems comply with the group standards.
  • Perform all the test and validation
Required Skills
  • Expertise in Linux/Windows environments.
  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper‑V, etc.).
  • Familiarity with ticket management tools (JIRA, ServiceNow, etc.).
  • Proficiency in monitoring and automation tools.
  • Strong understanding of system architecture concepts.
  • Experience in platform administration, operating & maintaining Windows OSes,
    • Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, DFS, RDS
  • Experience in VmWare integration and administration - optional
    • Troubleshooting basis, DRS, VROPS,
  • Experience in of one or more system-level programming languages like Powershell,
  • Installation, Configuration, Upgrading, Monitoring & Maintenance of Linux environments (RedHat/CentOS, Ubuntu, and others).
  • Setup of networking, firewall, SSL, DNS and LAMP stack on Linux.
  • Troubleshooting problems with the operating system, and the LAMP stack.
  • Deploying, Configuring and maintaining Linux servers in AWS infrastructure (EC2, ELB, EFS, Route53, RDS)
  • Configuring Scripting languages (PHP, Python, Node) for running web applications.
  • Incident Management - responding to alerts & notifications, root cause analysis and reporting
  • Sound networking fundamentals. Should have experience on performing network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common problems.
  • Experience with web servers (Apache, Nginx), databases (MySQL, Mongo Db, Postgres).
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in system management in a production environment.
  • Experience in managed services or service desk environments is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of WSUS, WPP,
  • Working knowledge of McAfee, Kaspersky, ePolicy Orchestrator,
  • Working knowledge of CITRIX, HorizonView, PowerCLI
  • Agile methodology, practice of ITIL standards
  • Has experiences working with virtualized or containerized environments (Docker),
  • Has experiences working with Unix/Linux OSes.
  • Target : experience in L2/L3 support on large information systems.
  • Ability to understand, implement design considerations such as scalability, performance, redundancy, backup and automation. • AWS certification will be an added advantage. • Understanding of AWS, DevOps, Git, CI/CD.

  • Advanced English knowledge, a conversational level in French would be appreciated.
