A leading insurance firm in Paris is seeking a Sustainability Analyst to assist in promoting sustainability initiatives and to conduct related analyses. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of relevant experience in insurance or finance, proficiency in both English and French, and a university degree or equivalent. This role involves collaboration with top management and monitoring key performance indicators for sustainable insurance efforts.
You will assist the Head of Sustainable Insurance in raising awareness with and presenting good practices to the business.
You will assist the Head of Sustainable Insurance in delivering on the action plan and the main expectations of the Comex / the Board related to SCOR sustainability strategy.
You will be in charge of selecting relevant topics, to conduct analyses and advance SCOR sustainability strategy re Sustainable insurance. He / she will present results to the business.
You will support the selection of external data provider and will monitor the relationship.
You will support the preparation of material for dedicated committees and the monitoring and reporting to Comex / Board.
You may participate to external working groups.
Constantly benchmark SCOR vis à vis peers’ positioning for P&C and L&H businesses
Identify market trends together with the sustainable investment teams, support the analysis of their consequences with a focus on P&C business
Present sustainability topics to the business (L&H and P&C)
Understand regulatory changes together with Corporate sustainability team, and their consequences with a focus on P&C business
Participate in the selection of external data providers for business needs, adopting a consistent approach across the balance sheet
Participate in the relationship with external data providers
Support the work on initiatives on sustainable insurance
Monitor relevant KPIs to assess SCOR’s progress on sustainable insurance
Support the preparation of material for top management meetings, including dashboards
Scientific, or commercial with scientific appetite, education
University degree, business school or other “Bac+5” equivalent
