A global shipbuilding company is looking for a CAT Supervisor to oversee the installation and delivery of catering systems across shipbuilding projects. This role is critical for ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards while coordinating with subcontractors and project managers. Candidates must possess excellent knowledge of galley installations along with strong communication skills. This position offers the chance to work in a dynamic international environment that emphasizes safety and collaboration.

As a CAT Supervisor in our Catering Systems Division, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful installation, coordination, and delivery of catering system components across our shipbuilding projects. You will oversee subcontractors on site, maintain alignment with project specifications, and ensure strict adherence to ALMACO’s quality, safety, and operational standards.
Your work will directly support the Head of Site Management and contribute to seamless project execution.
Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with ALMACO’s Quality Management Manual, HSE rules, and relevant codes, standards, and project specifications.
Record non‑conformances, take corrective actions, and ensure only current, approved documents and drawings are used.
Ensure all ALMACO and yard safety procedures are followed by subcontractors and ALMACO staff.
Oversee that all works are executed according to contract requirements, interface agreements, and client expectations.
Update project progress weekly in coordination with the General Supervisor or Contract Manager.
Communicate daily with subcontractors regarding site activities and ensure alignment with schedule requirements.
Participate in onsite coordination meetings with the Contract Manager, shipyard, and owner representatives.
Refer all design‑change requests to GS/CM and secure approval before implementing modifications.
Ensure materials delivered onsite are properly identified, handled, and stored.
Conduct daily inspections to ensure compliance with standards and safe work practices.
Ensure qualified workers follow approved procedures and plans.
Continuously inform GS/CM about safety and health‑related issues.
Required:
Excellent knowledge of galley and cold‑store installations.
Strong command of English.
Solid understanding of marine rules and regulations.
Good proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and M2.
Preferred:
Prior experience supervising installation works in shipyards.
Strong communication and coordination skills with multiple stakeholders.
