A leading beauty company is seeking an Intern CMF Designer to join their Packaging teams at the UXDesign Lab. In this role, you will create innovative designs that align with the brand vision. Overview

Our team of designers, experts in packaging, product design, experience design and CMF, are dedicated and passionate about creating the best sustainable and desirable packaging of the future. As a CMF Design intern, your mission is to create innovative and impactful color, material, and finish designs that align with the brand vision. Incorporate a strong understanding of sensoriality into the CMF design process to create products that not only look good, but also feel good to the customer. Consider texture, grip, and overall sensory experience, while inventing codes of sustainability and desirability with a holistic approach that weighs aesthetic appeal and environmental impact.

Responsibilities
  • Inspire the UXDesign team on day-to-day activities.
  • Conceptualize and develop creative CMF proposals aligned with the brand vision to reinforce brand identity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product development, marketing, engineering) to ensure seamless integration of CMF design proposals into the product development process.
  • Create design trends linked to consumer insights for the Group’s four divisions.
  • Work closely with Packaging Science Center, Innovation and suppliers to imagine tomorrow’s finishes for materials.
Your Profile / Qualifications
  • Good knowledge in CMF design; experience in packaging, automotive or luxury products is appreciated but not mandatory.
  • Good knowledge in product design.
  • English fluency.
  • Technical expertise: deep understanding of materials, finishes, and manufacturing processes.
  • Creative vision: ability to conceptualize unique ideas for color, materials, and finishes while considering brand identity and target market.
  • Strong communication skills to present moodboards, 3D renders, and reports; collaborate with cross-functional teams including industrial designers, engineers, and manufacturers.
  • Leadership and the ability to inspire creativity and facilitate team collaboration.
  • Industry knowledge: stay updated with trends and technologies; attend industry events to bring new ideas.
  • Open-minded and curious; consumer-centered; team- and collaborative-minded.
  • Ready to challenge the status quo, push boundaries, and make decisions; a "Make it happen" mindset.
  • Software proficiency: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, KeyShot (or similar), Miro, PowerPoint.
  • Affinities: attention to detail and sensoriality of the product; passion for beauty is a plus.

The Recruitment Process
