Responsibilities

• Leading electronics design from concepts through prototypes to series production. Focus on capacitive sensors for fingerprint scanning and optical systems (lighting & image capture) for fingerprint, face or iris recognition
• Defining the electronics design concept, capture schematics and layout PCB (hands-on or through leading others)
• Performing and leading worst case analysis and calculations
• Leading initial bring-up, debugging and test, and guiding design update sessions
• Overseeing technical subjects synergy and liaising with other teams (mechanics, thermals, software, manufacturing), observing and contributing to the system level concept
• Presenting results and achievements, liaising with the customer on technical matters
• Mentoring younger colleagues, leading intra-company technical trainings
• Developing multidisciplinary team of designers in electronics, optics and mechanics
• Cooperating on strategic decisions and defining best electronic design practices

Your Experience and Background

• 3+ years in electronics design team technical leadership
• Strong design experience in digital, analog and mixed signal, high speed signaling and communications
• Development with focus on reliability, manufacturability and EMC
• Experience with the whole electronics design lifecycle from concept to production
• Working experience with E-CAD, preferably Altium Designer
• Previous experience with project planning and requirements management
• Design/development team leadership abilities and good team spirit promotion
• Design for manufacturing and design for test
• Experience with electro-optical systems and chip-scale level integration
• PCB layout experience and knowledge of relevant technological requirements/constraints
• Knowledge of standards and usual normative requirements in industrial and consumer electronics
• Strong communication skills, fluent English written and spoken, ability to present in front of international audience
