This position is based in Rennes, France.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior C++ Developer to join our dynamic team working on structured documents analysis (Identity cards). Your mission will be to enhance and maintain this vital service, improving its efficiency and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain C++14/17/20 applications, libraries, and services for processing structured documents efficiently and accurately.
• Optimization & Architecture: Identify and implement performance improvements in existing document processing code, optimising speed and accuracy. Refactor and evolve the internal service architecture to address emerging technical challenges and scalability requirements.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross‑functional teams, including data scientists, product managers, QA engineers, and other developers, to deliver document processing solutions.
• Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve complex technical issues in document processing, ensuring reliability and accuracy of the service.

Preferred Experience

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in C++ 14/17/20 software development.
• Experience with multi-threading, performance optimization, and memory management.
• Proficiency in software design patterns and architecture.
• Experience with version control systems and continuous integration (e.g., GitlabCI/CD).
• Knowledge of Docker for containerization.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and a proactive attitude.
• Good communication and team collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with image processing libraries.
• Understanding of security best practices and regulatory compliance (GDPR).
