Mission : Join us as a Senior FP&A Business Partner - Credit Expert to establish and coordinate the financial performance management of our new credit activity. You\'ll be our first credit-specialized FP&A hire, building robust forecasting models and becoming the key financial business partner for this strategic area.

Impact : This role will have a significant impact on Qonto\'s growth trajectory by enabling effective financial management and performance tracking of our credit activity, directly supporting our strategic goals of financial transformation. You\'ll be instrumental in building the financial infrastructure that will help us scale our credit offering to serve hundreds of thousands of SMEs. You\'ll work closely with, our VP Strategic Finance with 25 years of experience in financial products and FP&A transformation in the payments and tech industries, who will support you in co-constructing the financial framework for this new business line.👩💻🧑💻

Responsibilities

• Structure the performance management of the new credit activity within 12 months, including KPIs, provisioning models, and unit economics frameworks
• Implement regular production and analysis of credit-specific financial indicators (cohort performance, losses, cost of risk, funding costs)
• Develop robust and reliable forecasting models for the credit business, incorporating multiple scenarios and risk factors
• Establish strong relationships and act as the financial business partner for the credit area, coordinating with Risk, Corporate Finance, and Product teams
• Lead budget and rolling forecast processes for the credit activity, ensuring alignment across all stakeholders

• Market / Team Context: You\'ll be joining at an exciting time as we launch our credit activity, giving you the opportunity to build something from scratch in a fast-growing fintech environment. You\'ll work closely with our Risk team as primary interlocutors, alongside Corporate Finance and Product development teams.
• Methodologies: We value structured analysis and data-driven decision making. You\'ll have autonomy to implement processes and coordinate across multiple departments while co-constructing knowledge with your manager. We emphasize upfront planning, quality delivery, and continuous improvement.
• Tools we use: Advanced Excel modeling, financial planning systems, and data analysis tools. You\'ll have the opportunity to enhance our toolkit as we build the credit FP&A infrastructure.
• Recent projects: We\'re currently developing new financial indicators for our credit activity, implementing forecasting methodologies, and supporting the broader finance transformation initiative across Qonto.
• About your future manager: Head of Marine brings 25 years of professional experience with FP&A and finance transformation in the payments and tech industries. She\'s focused on autonomy, collaboration, and building expertise within the team and will guide you while giving you the freedom to shape the function.

About You

• Credit Financial Expertise: You have experience with credit / lending metrics (LTV, cohort analysis, provisioning) and strong financial modeling skills. You understand loss provisioning, cost of risk calculation, and credit-specific performance indicators.
• Advanced Financial Modeling: You excel at building complex forecasting models with multiple variables and scenarios. You have advanced Excel skills and ideally some experience with Python / SQL for data analysis.
• Strategic Business Partnering: You have proven experience as a finance business partner with strong communication and presentation skills. You can influence without authority and translate complex financial data into clear business insights.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: You have a track record of working effectively across functions, building consensus, and coordinating complex projects with multiple stakeholders, ideally including Risk teams.
• Autonomous Leadership: You have 7+ years of experience with increasing autonomy and demonstrated learning agility. You can work independently, take initiative, and quickly learn new domains while ensuring alignment with your manager.
