To sustain the company's growth, Ledger is looking for a new talent to work in the embedded firmware team in charge of the hardware wallets’ Operating System and associated applications.

What you’ll be doing

The applications for our hardware wallet products include cryptocurrencies support as well as key management and security protocols (like PGP, SSH, U2F/FIDO and more). We have over 150 apps available on Ledger Live.

We need you to:

  • Implement and maintain secure applications running on top of our operating system,

  • Architecture and source code optimization,

  • Develop and improve our application development framework,

  • Ensure the quality of our applications (tests, CI, guidelines, documentation…),

  • Release and deploy new applications to be available in the Ledger Live,

  • Support third-party developers.

Main interactions
  • OS part of the team for SDK evolutions,

  • Security team for software vulnerabilities analysis and corrections,

  • Product team for requirements prioritization and definition,

  • Customer Success team for end users issues analysis and corrections,

  • Developer community

What we’re looking for
  • Diploma in Computer Sciences, Engineering or related discipline,

  • 5+ years of Embedded C software development,

  • Familiar with Python development,

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines,

  • Cryptography general knowledge,

  • Good communication skills,

  • Interest in software security,

  • Interest in blockchains and crypto currencies is a plus,

  • Embedded Rust software development is a plus
