Senior CO₂ Logistics & Sustainability Manager – CDI, Cadre, France (Île-de-France, Yvelines, Poissy). We are seeking a highly skilled leader to drive innovation in vehicle logistics and transportation, reduce CO₂ emissions across the logistics chain, ensure regulatory compliance, and shape a global sustainability strategy in collaboration with internal stakeholders, external bodies, suppliers, and regional teams.
Responsibilities
- Strategic & Operational CO₂ Management
- Develop and implement CO₂ reduction strategies within the global logistics network, ensuring alignment with corporate sustainability goals.
 
- Monitor and simulate the impact of CO₂ regulations on the logistics network, advising on adaptations to minimize costs, penalties, and disruptions.
 
- Ensure compliance with local, regional, and global CO₂ legislation and proactively anticipate future regulatory changes.
 
 
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a key liaison with external regulatory agencies, advocating for company interests and ensuring regulatory alignment.
 
- Lead internal and external meetings to explain CO₂ dynamics, regulatory implications, and project objectives, fostering a culture of sustainability.
 
- Work closely with procurement and supplier meetings to evaluate CO₂ reduction plans and ensure suppliers meet sustainability criteria.
 
- Guide regional logistics teams in implementing global CO₂ reduction initiatives, managing them in a dotted-line structure to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
 
 
- Project & Innovation Management
- Oversee and drive the development of CO₂ accounting and simulation software, collaborating with IT to enhance data accuracy and decision-support tools.
 
- Manage the implementation of new digital tools and technologies for CO₂ tracking, reporting, and optimization within the logistics network.
 
- Define Statement of Requirements (S.O.R.) for suppliers to integrate CO₂ objectives into procurement processes and logistics operations.
 
 
Profil

Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience (5+ years) in logistics, transportation, or sustainability management, ideally within the automotive or manufacturing sector.
 
- Strong expertise in CO₂ emissions management, sustainability regulations, and logistics optimization.
 
- Knowledge of global and regional CO₂ legislation and their implications on transport and logistics.
 
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct reporting lines, ensuring regional alignment with global sustainability strategies.
 
- Experience in project management and digital transformation, particularly in CO₂ tracking and reporting tools.
 
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams across different regions.
 
- Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g., French, German, Spanish) are a plus.
