Role Overview

As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will be instrumental in driving strategic partnerships and expanding our presence in the life sciences and healthcare sectors. Collaborating closely with our multidisciplinary team of engineers, pharmacists, computer scientists, and medical experts, you will help translate cutting-edge AI research into real-world applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and healthcare industries.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including academic institutions, research organisations, and industry partners.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align business development strategies with ongoing research and technological advancements.
  • Negotiate and close strategic partnerships, licensing agreements, and collaborations.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, workshops, and networking events.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform business strategies.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., biology, pharmacology, computer science) or business/sales with a strong technical aptitude.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development within the life sciences, biotechnology, or healthcare sectors.
  • Proven track record of securing and managing strategic partnerships.
  • Strong understanding of AI applications in biomedical research and personalized medicine.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
