Managing and securing enterprise-grade file transfer and collaboration services

Position Overview
We are seeking a Secure File Transfer Platform Administrator to manage and support the deployment, operation, and maintenance of Kiteworks, our secure content communication and file-sharing platform. This role ensures the secure exchange of sensitive data across internal and external stakeholders, in compliance with data protection regulations and organizational policies.

You will be responsible for platform configuration, access control, monitoring, integration with enterprise systems, and ongoing support of secure file exchange workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Management & Administration

• Administer and maintain the Kiteworks platform, including user provisioning, permissions, encryption settings, and configuration updates
• Ensure high availability, security, and reliability of the Kiteworks environment
• Manage system patches, version upgrades, and backup strategies for business continuity

Security & Compliance

• Configure and enforce access controls, multi-factor authentication, IP filtering, and audit logging
• Monitor platform activity and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001)
• Coordinate with InfoSec and compliance teams to implement data protection policies and incident response procedures
• Conduct periodic security reviews and participate in audit readiness processes

Integration & Automation

• Integrate Kiteworks with enterprise authentication (LDAP, SSO, Active Directory) and email/DLP solutions
• Develop and maintain automation scripts for reporting, provisioning, and activity monitoring
• Support secure APIs and connectors to internal business systems and cloud storage providers
• Act as the technical point of contact for Kiteworks-related service requests and incidents
• Train and support end-users, departments, and partners on secure file sharing practices
• Liaise with Kiteworks support and account teams to resolve issues and apply best practices

Required Qualifications

Technical Skills

• 6+ years of experience administering enterprise-grade secure file transfer platforms, preferably Kiteworks (formerly Accellion)
• Strong knowledge of secure communication protocols (SFTP, HTTPS, TLS), encryption standards, and data security principles
• Experience with user authentication systems (LDAP, SAML, Azure AD) and role-based access controls
• Familiarity with system monitoring, alerting, and audit logging tools

Infrastructure Knowledge

Working knowledge of Linux-based system administration and web server configuration (Apache/Nginx)
