You will join the Corporate Functions Global Products department. In its “IT for Business” duty, our department designs, delivers and operates end user global applications in the domain of Corporate & Support Functions organized in 24 products within 6 lines of products (Finance, Investment, Procurement, Risk Management, HR/Communication, Compliance), most of them sponsored by Group Corporate departments.

Our department relies on a high performing team of ~200 experts (mainly located in France and Portugal also with offshored managed services), committed and motivated, creating and protecting value at Group & Entity level.

Our main mission is to be the preferred partner of AXA Business families in Corporate Functions while ensuring excellence and consistency across our products in:

  • Implementing, operating and managing Group and/or Global Solutions
  • Delivering advisory services in answer to Business requirements and stakes
  • Leveraging a market leader right‑shored delivery model
  • Continuously integrating customer centricity, efficiency, innovation & technology in our operating model.
About the Job

We are seeking an experienced HERMES Proxy Product Owner to join our Corporate Functions Global Products department. This role is essential to the successful implementation of the new finance Global Product “HERMES” on SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public. You will be the key point of contact for your scope of entities, ensuring the product’s usability, competitiveness, evolution, and stability.

Main missions

The main missions of the HERMES Proxy Product Owner are:

Product Roadmap

Support Product Owner by providing valuable inputs to:

  • Evolve and communicate vision of the product and high‑level roadmap linked with the S/4HANA Cloud Public product vision and customer requirements.
  • Build and maintain a prioritized product backlog that considers the delivery of incidents, small changes and enhancement projects.
  • Identify (recruit if needed) resources and assign individual and operational responsibilities.
Cost monitoring
  • Evaluate workload and anticipate project and BAU costs of the product.
  • Manage budget with PMO for his scope of responsibility.
Governance
  • Facilitate and manage governance instances.
  • Provide inputs to Product Owner to arbitrate priorities with the customer context and aligned with the S/4HANA Cloud Public product roadmap.
  • Realize performance reporting to the Product Manager and Product Owner.
  • Receive enhancement requests for scoping and costing.
  • Provide project opportunity (pre‑study) high level cost and plan.
  • Monitor Project managers of any projects around his scope.
  • Main point of contact for any audit, security and compliance topics.
Client relationship
  • Guarantee the quality of the service and the continuous improvement of the product to the customer.
  • Be the first level of escalation for Business Process Owner on your scope of entities.
Your Profile
Experience and Skills Required:
  • 5-10 years of experience in the IT field, specifically in managing ERP systems and maintaining SAP applications.
  • Demonstrated expertise in SAP, particularly S/4HANA Cloud, with relevant certifications as an advantage.
  • Proven track record of successful IT implementation projects and a comprehensive understanding of the insurance industry.
