Join the Kayrros Data Products Team

You will be part of the Kayrros Data Products team, developing products used daily by analysts and traders across commodity trading houses, energy companies, banks and hedge funds to inform trading decisions.

We combine satellite imagery, AI and data fusion to answer customers’ pressing needs for supply and demand data that gives them an edge.

Role

As part of Kayrros’s rapid global expansion, this role offers a key opportunity to have a direct impact in scaling our data products business for the oil market. You will work under the leadership of the Paris‑based Chief Product Officer and oversee the development and commercialization of Kayrros products offering a range of refinery monitoring services for global oil traders and analysts.

You will collaborate with team members in Paris, London and Houston to shape the next generation of market‑moving products for traders, analysts and investors.

Responsibilities
  • Product roadmap & expansion:
    • Interact with customers and market participants to gather product feedback and determine industry trends and pain points.
    • Take over the current refinery monitoring product roadmap with key launches already planned for 2026.
    • Expand bespoke contracts and broaden the configurable refinery monitoring offering.
    • Work closely with engineering and R&D teams to leverage Kayrros satellite remote sensing and AI technologies.
    • Drive communication and stakeholder engagement internally and with the customer community.
    • Participate in Kayrros PM community to develop best practices and help the team grow.
  • Market engagement & pre‑sales:
    • Act as a thought partner to clients and prospects, connecting Kayrros insights to oil market moves and investment opportunities.
    • Work hand‑in‑hand with the sales team to showcase the value of Kayrros data through demos and discussions.
    • Lead pre‑sales lifecycle monitoring and reporting for the products under your responsibility.
    • Contribute to events, webinars and conferences to share timely market views and represent Kayrros as a trusted voice.
  • Insight generation & content creation:
    • Analyze trends across oil markets using Kayrros unique geospatial and AI data.
    • Produce market commentary reports and presentations highlighting our data edge and real‑world impact.
    • Collaborate with our NY‑based Chief Analyst Antoine Halff to leverage mentorship and the global energy network.
Profile / Qualifications
  • 3 years experience as a product owner or product manager at a data provider focused on energy and commodities, OR 3 years of experience as a commodities market analyst at an energy company, trading house, hedge fund or research firm.
  • Strong understanding of oil market fundamentals and good understanding of refinery operations.
  • Experience working with financial institutions (hedge funds, banks, trading desks).
  • Comfortable engaging clients and prospects; strong pre‑sales mindset with ability to articulate value and impact.
  • Fluent with data; autonomous running data analysis in Excel, Python or similar tools.
  • Entrepreneurial and hands‑on; thrives in a fast‑moving environment and excited to help grow Kayrros US presence.
  • Curious about new commodities, the evolving role of AI in markets and the intersection of finance, energy and climate.
