L'École Aujourd'hui – School for Today, co‑ed, private primary school founded by teachers in 1975 and located in the 14th arrondissement of Paris, is seeking a passionate, flexible, and dedicated English Teacher to join our dynamic team.

This part‑time CDD position involves teaching children aged 3–11 in a classroom environment, beginning at the end of August 2026.

The successful candidate will:
  • Deliver engaging lessons in compliance with the French national education curriculum
  • Prepare and assess student work, providing constructive and supportive feedback
  • Participate actively in weekly team meetings, school events, and collaborative planning
  • Organize and accompany students on domestic and/or international school trips
  • Be a native English speaker or have equivalent proficiency
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher (Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, English, Child Development, or related field preferred)
  • Have hands‑on classroom experience in early years or primary education
  • Possess excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • Already hold the full legal right to work in France (EU citizenship, valid student status for 2025–2026, or a permanent work permit). Please note: the school cannot arrange visas or work authorization.

Speaking French is not mandatory, but understanding it is recommended.

Working Conditions:

Schedule: Tuesday, Thursday and Monday/Friday, (3 days/ week, 18 teaching hours/ week, plus additional hours for team meetings and professional developement)

Gross salary: Based on experience.
