The researcher will coordinate the study to further this research, with the aim of providing additional results from French stakeholders.
The ORIGAMI project was launched in November 2023 and concluded in November 2025. It aims to better understand the role and impact of digital platforms on transformations of work and employment in personal household services, based on a comparative analysis of six countries: Italy, Spain, Denmark, the Netherlands, Ireland and France. As part of a co-funded initiative by Trajectoire Europe - Support for Scientific Resource Development within the framework of a European project in the Pays de la Loire region, the objective of the postdoctoral research will be to work with members of the French project team to further research on home care platforms and to disseminate the results of this research more widely. The postdoctoral researcher will be attached to the Law and Social Change (DCS) research laboratory. DCS is a joint CNRS research unit dedicated to developing interdisciplinary studies. The laboratory is at the heart of the Nantes University Societies Cluster, which brings together the Faculty of Law and Political Science, the IAE, the IPAG and the Faculty of Sociology. The laboratory has 64 permanent staff, 18 associates, 7 young doctors and no fewer than a hundred doctoral students. Franck Héas is the director of the laboratory and Anne‑Claire Covain is its administrator. The researcher will report to Pascal Caillaud, coordinator of the French team. He/she will be responsible for disseminating the results of the ORIGAMI project and will participate in the production of new data in line with that produced by the project.
