An international research institution is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to work in Grenoble, contributing to nuclear physics projects and experiments. Qualifications

  • PhD in physics with strong expertise in experimental nuclear physics.
  • Experience with development and/or use of charged particle detectors.
  • Experience in nuclear spectroscopy and data treatment.
  • Good command of English; willingness to learn French.

Responsabilités

  • Participate in nuclear spectroscopy experiments at FIPPS.
  • Analyse existing fission data with different actinide targets.
  • Collaborate with ILL and visiting scientists.
  • Research and develop auxiliary systems for fission experiments.
  • Prepare benchmark tests at the Lohengrin separator.
  • Promote ILL’s activity at conferences.
