We are seeking a Plant Sanitarian to join our Chateaugay, NY team. This is a full‑time position with a typical schedule of 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Monday–Friday, with flexibility required for audits, sanitation oversight, and plant production needs.
Why You’ll Love This Role:
Lead plant sanitation programs to ensure compliance with company, state, and federal standards.
Conduct inspections, CIP performance tests, and oversee sanitation SOPs.
Train and coach employees on sanitation best practices, chemical safety, and operational procedures.
Work closely with management to develop corrective action plans and implement process improvements.
What We’re Looking For:
BS or AS in a science‑related field preferred; HS Diploma/GED required.
1+ year of food manufacturing or dairy experience preferred; combination of education and training accepted.
Knowledge of sanitation operations, HACCP, and SQF standards; SQF Practitioner Certification preferred.
Excellent communication and computer skills (Word, Excel).
Ability to lead, coach, and engage a team while managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
