We are now looking for aProject ManagerH/F to join our forward‑looking team.

The position is permanent and the preferred location for the position is in Nantes, France.

What will you be doing

Within Wartsila Marine Power, you will be integrated in an exciting international project management of professionals that leadprojects to success worldwide. Integrated into the “Project Management” department, you will be in charge of ensuring the success of the projects, both in terms of organization and quality. You will ensure adherence to deadlines and cost monitoring in accordance with customer agreements. Youwill work in an international environment, primarily for “Marine” clients.

As Project Manager , your work will focus on these responsibilities:

• Ensuring control of the design in accordance with the client's specifications
• Coordinating the actions of the various stakeholders and ensure communication with our customers and our suppliers.
• Managing the financial aspect of the case, control and justify deviations
• Ensuring the contractual relationship and compliance with our obligations
• Negotiating any amendments to the contract

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

• Higher education in the technical and/or maritime field (or equivalent experience)
• Significant experience of at least 5 years in the field of project management
• Good understanding of the world of ship building.
• Proficiency in IT tools (Pack Office, SAP)
• Fluency in English
• Independency and proven skills in negotiation and customer contact
