Who we are

We’re building Mo — a health companion for everyone, an intelligent, empathetic, multimodal LLM-based conversational AI assistant that can prescribe, triage, and proactively follow up on care. We’re a small team within Alan on a mission to democratize access to medical expertise and to provide instant, 24/7 personalised medical help through chat, voice or video. The project started in 2023 and is now scaling Mo to the entire French portfolio (1M members) and beyond.

• Deliver the most memorable chatting experience — make Mo the obvious choice for health inquiry with a snappy, delightful chat, blazing fast response and rich content.
• Scale our systems to serve 100x more users — prepare Mo for millions of members, focusing on latency, error rate, and recovery.
• Integrate Mo with all Alan services — connect Mo to digital chat, physical location listings, prevention programs, and more.
• Extend our architecture to support future chapters — expand the agentic framework for new skills, contexts, and country expansions.

Is it you we’re looking for?

We’re looking for Product engineers with 3+ years of experience and mobile expertise who are excited about building state‑of‑the‑art AI systems and applying them to real‑world, high‑stakes healthcare problems.

• Work at the frontier of LLMs, multi‑agent architectures, and human‑in‑the‑loop learning, deployment in production, and impact on real people.
• Implement new Mo capabilities across engineering, data, and medical expertise.
• Continuously refine the mobile experience for snappy, delightful, memorable chats.
• Influence system architecture, code quality and engineering culture.
• Mentor engineers, participate in hiring, shape interview loops, and help build the team.

• Strong background in software engineering with a focus on mobile development.
• Experience with traditional ML, LLMs, or ML‑ops is a big plus.

• Fluent in English; French not required.
