General Purpose

The Director of Market Access will be responsible for the market access strategy of the BeOne’s pipeline in France, Belgium and Luxembourg: reimbursement, pricing negotiation, defend pricing, RWE, HEOR. This position will partner with commercial and medical affairs teams to deliver launch activities by providing access insights, developing evidence-based HTA, Pricing & Reimbursement dossiers and tools, engaging with market access and public affairs stakeholders as well as driving pricing strategy activities, and lead the negotiation activities to deliver access results in selected markets, supporting and contributing to the overall success of our product launches.

Essential Functions of the job

In the performance of his duties, the Employee is responsible for the following tasks:

Member of Comex & EU Market Access Leadership Team
  • Active participation in the strategic decisions for the FrBeLux cluster
  • Coordination with the Market Access Global department, the Europe Region
Definition of market access strategy
  • Definition, defense and implementation of the market access strategy, reimbursement and pricing strategy for the product portfolio
  • Development, coordination and management of the P&R strategy of the product portfolio
  • Coordination of the development and monitoring of transparency dossiers, medico-economic dossiers, and prices based on tools developed by Europe (CVD, European Market Access Strategy, value messages, etc.)
  • Monitor market access and health policy environment, early identify new trends, disseminate strategic, operational and financial implications
  • Definition of the strategy of HEOR and generation of real-life data
  • Definition and implementation of the necessary resources (teams, budgets, outsourcing...)
  • Coordination of the early market access strategy for innovative products (Early access, list en sus, and retrocession list) and hospital products
Engagement with main stakeholders
  • Development of outreach and engagement plan for key payers and their influencers (TC, CEESP, CEPS, CRM, WG)
  • Create and maintain a strong contact network with key players and their influencers
  • Negotiation of contracts and drug prices with the Economic Committee for Health Products (CEPS) and the Working Group
  • Mapping of the political and economic ecosystem in health and relations with ministries and government authorities regarding health policies, care and access to medicines
  • Relations with the Ministry of Health for drugs concerning the list en sus / retrocession
  • Development of the communication strategy on the value and the medico-economic advantages of the products, to the health authorities and deployed by the Key Account Managers with regional authorities and hospital decision-makers
  • Positioning of the company as a partner of the health authorities, responsible for the company's sustainable reputation
  • Represent BeOne at local trade associations for market access subjects
Team manager
  • Human resources management of its organization (recruitment, evaluation, training, skills development) in connection with HR and the training department
