Overview

Our client is a private equity-backed IT services company with a strong presence across Europe. The business specialises in delivering innovative and reliable IT solutions and is looking to appoint a senior leader to drive the further growth of this €25 million business unit.

As the Managing Director, you will be responsible for defining and driving the strategic direction of the business. You will lead a broad team of circa 100 people across sales, pre-sales, and delivery consultants, based in France, ensuring operational excellence and alignment with the group’s overall goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage P&L and ensure strong financial performance, investment management, and operational efficiency.
  • Drive the development of the company’s strategic plan with a focus on creating value and driving growth and further profitability.
  • Instil an entrepreneurial ‘mindset’ across a high-performing team with a focus on creating a culture of customer focus and innovation.
  • Develop business development strategy, focussing on the deepening of existing client relationships alongside the targeting and acquisition of new ones.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration across technical and commercial functions.
  • Manage daily operations, instilling a ‘best practice’ culture to drive a culture of excellence.
Ideal Profile / Qualifications

The ideal profile will have an entrepreneurial outlook, with a strong track record of delivering business growth, prior experience of managing a full P&L and ideally within a managed services business model. Prior experience of leading cross functional teams across sales, delivery and technology would be hugely advantageous.

You will be an excellent communicator, with a commercial & entrepreneurial vision and strong stakeholder management skills.
