A global manufacturing firm in Lyon is seeking a Key Account Manager to drive sales and maintain strong relationships with key clients. The ideal candidate will have solid commercial training, excellent customer relationship management skills, and proficiency in English and French. Responsibilities include achieving sales targets, providing technical advice on packaging solutions, and managing customer interactions effectively. This role demands strong organizational skills and the capacity for autonomous work within a team environment.

Qualifications

  • Solid commercial training or comparable experience with a technical perspective.
  • Highly proficient in using Microsoft Excel and managing ERP systems.
  • Sales experience, preferably in an international setting.

To complete our team in Saint Priest, we are looking for a Key Account Manager

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the achievement of individual as well as corporate sales targets
  • Establishing, expanding and maintaining customer relationships as well as a network among key accounts
  • Technical and commercial advice to customers on packaging solutions
  • Customer presentations & preparation of quotations
  • Documentation and regular updates of opportunities and/or activities in Salesforce
Qualifications
  • Commercial training or similar with technical understanding / very good business knowledge
  • very good knowledge of MS Office (esp. Excel) and proficient handling of ERP/PPS systems
  • qualified sales experience – ideally in an international environment
  • experience in preparing a market/potential analysis
  • ability to conduct diplomatic conversations in French and English,
  • communicational & organizational skills
  • autonomous working & stress reliant with good team spirit
