A global clinical research organization is seeking a full-time Junior IT Systems Administrator to provide daily technical support. Responsibilities include troubleshooting desktop computer systems, managing IT support operations, and installing and maintaining systems. Qualifications

  • At least 1+ years of experience in IT.
  • Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) training is a plus.

Job Description

We are looking for professional, qualified and enthusiastic candidates to take up a full-time position of a Junior IT Systems Administrator to provide daily technical support.

Responsibilities
  • Supervised responsibility for troubleshooting and diagnosing desktop computer systems and peripheral equipment problems
  • Supervised responsibility for IT support operations, including but not limited to receiving and tracking user requests, assigning priority and responsible persons, resolving requests and users’ notification
  • Shared responsibility for installation, configuration, maintenance and upgrades of desktop computer systems and peripherals (e.g., network cards, printers, modems, mice, add-in boards, copiers, etc.)
  • Supervised responsibility for asset management of desktop computer systems (hardware and software inventories, licensing, systems decommissioning, etc.)
  • Is responsible for documentation of system problems and resolutions
  • Assists with providing basic IT training to PSI staff, at the discretion of Training & Resourcing
