A leading asset management company in Paris is seeking a motivated Intern SSA Credit Analyst for a six-month internship. The successful candidate will join the Global Credit Research team, assisting in the analysis of Subsovereign issuers and maintaining financial models. Ideal candidates should have strong Excel proficiency, excellent analytical skills, and good command of English. • Input accounts of Subsovereigns into financial models.
• Validate consistency and accuracy of data inputs and outputs.
• Maintain and update the GRE Database to ensure data integrity.
• Improve SSAs models for enhanced performance and reliability.
• Oversee maintenance of the Economic Database.

Intern SSA Credit Analyst

We are looking for a motivated student for a six-month internship to join our Global Credit Research team as an assistant SSA Analyst.

The Global Credit Research team underpins the firm's global investment process and value proposition as an active manager. Within the team, the successful candidate will work with the credit analyst specialized on SSAs (Supras, Subsovereign and agencies) and support him in producing high-quality research for the global Fixed Income platform. Specifically, the intern will help analyse the different accounts of Subsovereign issuers in different countries while also maintaining and extending the specific SSAs models and databases.

The successful candidate will join the Credit Research team in Paris (Richelieu-Drouot).

What you will do

• Input accounts of Subsovereigns into financial models
• Validate consistency and accuracy of data inputs and outputs
• Maintain and update the GRE Database to ensure data integrity
• Improve SSAs models for enhanced performance and reliability
• Oversee maintenance of the Economic Database to support analytical processes.

What you bring

• Strong proficiency in Excel with advanced data handling capabilities
• Solid analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent command of English with clear communication abilities
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
• Ability to use Microsoft Copilot, with a strong commitment to ethical and responsible AI practices
• Basic understanding of public finance analysis is an advantage
• Knowledge of Japanese is a plus.
