A leading global logistics company is seeking a Procurement Lead for Inland Services, based in Marseille, France. The role involves defining and implementing procurement strategies, managing a budget over $2.5 billion, and optimizing processes while collaborating with internal stakeholders. Candidates should possess a Master’s degree and have at least 10 years of procurement experience, ideally in transport or logistics. Strong negotiation skills and proficiency in advanced MS Office tools are essential for success in this role.

Based at the Group's headquarters in Marseille, France, you will lead global procurement activities for Inland Services (Road, Rail, and Barges). Your mission will be to define and deploy procurement strategies, manage a large global spend, drive cost optimization, and foster synergies across the Group. Acting as a key liaison between senior management and regional offices, you will ensure alignment with the Group's strategic goals while optimizing processes and supporting global procurement initiatives.
Master’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, International Business, or Engineering. At least 10 years of procurement experience, ideally in transport or logistics. Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus. Proficient in MS Office (advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills). Experience with procurement tools (e.g., SRM platforms); knowledge of AI tools is a strong asset. Strong negotiation and relationship management skills. Analytical mindset with a focus on cost optimization and process improvement. Familiarity with optimized tendering methodologies to enhance procurement performance.
