Description du poste

At Medtronic, you can start a lifelong career of exploration and innovation while helping to champion healthcare access and equity for all. You will lead with purpose, breaking down barriers to innovation in a more connected, compassionate world.

A Day in the Life

Guided by this mission—to relieve pain, restore health, and prolong life—Medtronic continues to bring its innovative therapies to millions of patients. Today, you have the opportunity to join the world's largest medical device company and participate in this daily challenge. By joining our teams, you will be at the heart of our values!

The Coronary & Renal Denervation (CRDN) activities are part of the Cardiovascular portfolio. Our clients are clinical and non-clinical professionals, mainly (but not exclusively) in interventional cardiology, including cardiologists, operating room managers, cardiac catheterization laboratories, specialized nurses, and procurement managers. Our product/therapy is a revolutionary innovation in physiological assessment. CathWorks creates a 3D model or a coronary tree from three angiograms, allowing users to assess the severity of vascular lesions through a non-invasive approach without a device.

This position requires travel across France and occasionally abroad. Ideally, you are based in a major city (Paris, Lyon, Marseille, Toulouse, Bordeaux, Lille, Nantes, etc.) or near a major airport or train station.

The responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  1. Coordinating and implementing initial training on the CathWorks suite: assisting potential users with demonstrations, providing face-to-face theoretical training, guiding users during initial clinical procedures, and following up on training for new or existing users, especially regarding new tools or features.
  2. Promoting the adoption of the CathWorks suite during the initial phase post-installation and training, in close collaboration with the local sales representative responsible for the target account.
  3. Supporting local sales resources (Technical Sales Engineers, Marketing) in delivering in-depth product presentations (including demo cases) to target accounts.
  4. Training local sales representatives during real cases and demonstrations to certify their mastery of the technology.
  5. Training and informing doctors, hospital staff, and administrative personnel on technical issues by organizing and coordinating individual training sessions, ongoing training programs, seminars, and external symposiums. Providing training and resources to hospital staff so they can train their own personnel ('train the trainer').
  6. Monitoring and measuring activity execution at the account level by local sales representatives, in coordination with the Western Europe headquarters team.

Required Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, nursing, biology, or other life sciences, with at least 6 years of professional experience in healthcare, field sales, or a field requiring advanced knowledge in mathematics, mechanics, science, or IT.
  • Deep understanding of medical terminology, medical procedures, the medical device sector, angiograms (imaging systems), and heart anatomy.
  • Strong project management skills and experience in coordinating and executing marketing programs.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective positive relationships with peers and colleagues at all organizational levels.
