We are looking for a HSE Project Manager for one of our clients with the following details :

- Location: Dunkirk construction sites, France
- Start Date: 01-12-2025
- Contract Duration: 1 year firm + 2 one-year options
Qualification and Experience Required
- Coming from a Bac + 4 / 5 training (engineer or 3rd cycle diploma)
- Minimum 8 years\' experience in a similar field
- Experience with company desired
- Experience with construction sites desired
- Knowledge of electrical risks (accreditation required)
- Fluency in French and English (written and oral)
- Ability to adapt to integrate into the project teams already in place
- Ability to develop staff awareness / training materials
- Knowledge of the applicable HSE requirements for the construction of electrical substations
- Resistance to stress, ability to react to possible accidents
- Writing and organizational skills to work on several projects in parallel
- Communication and listening skills to carry out missions successfully by integrating the multicultural dimension and the organisational complexity inherent in this type of project
- Holder of a valid B licence
- H0V B0 habilitation, HVB domain and PASS HTB supervisor level
- Knowledge of HSEs on offshore work would be a plus
The HSE project manager ensures that the service providers understand and implement all the HSE specifications in the Contract.
To do this, he / she will have to :
- Is the HSE contact person for the project
- Ensures the homogeneity of the prevention measures implemented on all the conversion stations, substation (and LSM in a second phase) lots
- Familiarize yourself with operations, companies (including subcontractors), schedules and project teams
- Carry out HSE visits and HSE inspections
- Participate in operational meetings in project management
- Propose, prepare and lead HSE moments and talks
- Review the HSE deliverables of the awarding service providers
- Prepare and participate in risk analysis sessions upstream of operations
- Participate, when necessary, in the analysis of HSE events
- Fill in the register of significant HSE events and ensure that it is updated
- Participate in the implementation of emergency exercises
- Collect information from service providers to carry out monthly reporting of HSE indicators
- Ensures the selective sorting and monitoring of the waste generated
- Ensures the relevance of the technical content of the General Coordination Plan(s) within the framework of the 1994 decree on land lots
- Support the project team on French land lots for the organization of "HSE animations" with the main companies and their subcontractors (Awareness, feedback, Minute of stoppage) and HSE managerial visits
- Use and save documents on the HSE DIIReM computer network in order to make information available
- Participate in the consolidation of feedback
- Participate through feedback in the updates of the DIIREM HSE reference framework and specifications
- Participate in the cross-functional documentary preparation (DIIREM Info sécurité / environnement, MEMO, etc.)
- Keeping track of PPE used
- Ensure regular internal HSE reporting to the HSE business manager
- Coordinates the action of the HSE Board in charge of the offshore work part (in a second phase on the project)
