Hotel Manager – Hotel Quality Audit Focus (Independent Contractor)

Position Overview

Although the title of this role appears as Hotel Manager , this position is not an operational hotel management role . We are specifically seeking a Hotel Manager with strong experience in hotel service quality audits and evaluations .

This role focuses on conducting independent quality and service audits across multiple hotel chains , assessing the overall guest experience and operational standards of hotel facilities. The ideal candidate has a solid background in hotel operations and a strong eye for service excellence, compliance, and quality assurance .

This is a part‑time, independent contractor position , ideal for professionals with flexibility and experience conducting evaluations in hospitality environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct on‑site hotel quality audits across assigned hotel chains.
  • Evaluate overall service quality and guest experience , including :
  • Front Office and guest journey
  • Housekeeping standards
  • Public areas and general hotel facilities
  • Food & Beverage service quality
  • Staff professionalism and service consistency
  • Assess compliance with brand standards, service protocols, and operational guidelines .
  • Document observations objectively and complete detailed audit reports within required timelines.
  • Travel to assigned locations and perform audits independently and professionally.
  • Maintain confidentiality and impartiality during all evaluations.
Work Structure & Volume
  • Contract Type : Independent Contractor
  • Audit Volume : Approximately 4 audits per week
  • Audit Format : One‑night evaluations (approximately 8-hour audits )

  • Primary coverage : France

Auditors typically travel to the first location at the beginning of the week, complete multiple audits during the week, and return home at the end of the week. A minimum availability of 2 weeks of audits per month is preferred.

Compensation & Expenses
  • Compensation : EUR 200 per audit (8-hour audit)
  • Training Rate : EUR 100 per training day
  • Travel Expenses : All travel‑related expenses are fully reimbursed , subject to submission of detailed invoices
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Hotel Manager or senior hotel operations professional .
  • Strong background in hotel service quality, standards, and operational evaluations .
  • Prior experience conducting audits, inspections, or quality assessments within hotels is highly preferred.
  • Fluent French is required (audits must be conducted and reported in French).
  • Bilingual French / English preferred , as internal communication is in English.
  • Valid driver’s license and passport required for travel within France and potentially across EMEA.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a flexible, travel‑based schedule.
  • No equipment required; business casual attire is expected.
