The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in automotive aftersales, with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in French and English is required. Overview

Head of Aftersales (F / M) – CDI. Report to CEO France. Based in Courbevoie.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the performance and profitability of the Aftersales department, aligned with MG Europe and MG HQ strategy and the French market context. Set objectives, define KPIs, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead and develop a team of Aftersales professionals (technical support, parts, training, warranty, customer service, etc.). Provide guidance to ensure high employee engagement and performance.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by implementing and maintaining customer satisfaction initiatives. Monitor feedback, address complaints, and establish fast mechanisms for user complaints to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee service and operations; implement and optimize the aftersales CRM system. Ensure efficient workflows, timely customer responses, and adherence to quality standards. Apply best practices in service processes, warranty claims, technical support, and parts management.
  • Oversee parts and accessories inventory management, including stock levels, forecasting, procurement, and obsolescence control to minimize costs and maximize availability.
  • Identify training needs and organize programs for the dealers network to ensure they have the necessary technical knowledge and skills.
  • Ensure compliance with automotive regulations, warranty policies, safety standards, and environmental regulations. Stay updated on industry trends and evolving customer needs to adapt strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Finance, HQ Aftersales) to align aftersales strategies with business objectives. Build and maintain relationships with dealerships, suppliers, and customers.
  • Develop annual budget plans and manage operations and Aftersales teams within the agreed budget.
Experience, Education & Expertise
  • Degree in Business, Engineering, Automotive Management or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in automotive aftersales, with at least 5 years in team management.
  • In-depth expertise in service, parts and warranty operations at OEM level.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Customer-first mentality with problem-solving and conflict-resolution capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to represent the brand to key partners and dealerships.
  • Proficiency in both French and English.
